Week XV
This is the first time that thistles are the main feature of the arrangement, and it was quite magical. Their texture is so intriguing as well as their colour. They made an excellent combination with the pittosporum as a filler. The rest of the flowers were there to provide harmony and variety of colour.
Normally roses are quick to wilt but, surprisingly, our roses lasted the whole week in perfect condition! This might be because the weather, despite it still being quite warm, was not as taxing as it had been in previous weeks. We have been having a lovely breeze running through our office. Quite nice. Quite a lovely weather.
Now, our Chief Quality Control Officer Michael Torpey made a most important epistemological observation this week. Between the pittosporum and the thistle, which one would you say is Kiki and which one would be Bouba?
Yes, our thoughts precisely.
