Week XXI

This week we had the most exotic arrangement of flowers so far. All of the flowers were of a kind we had not had before, except for the September Flower, and even those this time we had in royal purple, instead of their usual white.
The gypsophila had the most distintive smell of them all. It was quite nice. And what to say about the rest of the flowers, they were all so interesting! In both, shape and colour! The intense orange of the nutan, with its multiple filaments, reminded me, yet again, of how magical and interesting is Nature. And the shape and texture of the pink protea, that despite having a structure more similar to that of a traditional flower, it had a curious round architecture in the middle. This bouquet was extremely aesthetically pleasing. I am quite satisfied.
