Week XXVII
What a great way to end August and to welcome September! Only a week after having had a beautiful arrangement of hydrangeas, this week we had them back in a gorgeous pink that illuminated the office with its brightness!
Time is flying! It has been more than half a year now that we started decorating the office with flowers and it has been an utter delight to learn more about them and appreciate their beauty. It has also been a pleasure writing these entries, in an attempt to express how I feel having each bouquet every week.
Life should be filled with beautiful things, or at least we should try to fill our lives with beautiful things. As Oscar Wilde correctly put it in his preface to The Picture of Dorian Gray: "Those who find beautiful meanings in beautiful things are the cultivated. For these there is hope. They are the elect to whom beautiful things mean only beauty".
