Week LXIII

This beautiful picture is the first one in this blog that was not taken by me, rather it is a contribution that very kindly Craig is making to the St Andrews Floral Review. Previously I had taken an earlier picture of the bouquet but this one is much better because in it the phlox has already opened.
Somehow unfortunately, the peonies never opened. They did, though, retain their vibrant colour until the end of the week. The most interesting aspect of the bouquet indubitably was the scent of the phlox. This is certainly my favourite type of bouquet, an arrangement that has a lovely smell. It brings a distinctive positive aura to the office.
