Week LXXVI
Today I woke up to the sad news that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had died. I read about it first on a message my good friend César sent me while I was sleeping. Though a notification from The New York Times was also on my cell phone waiting for me to see it.
I spent a couple of minutes, thinking.
Thinking.
Then I went for my daily run. The morning was so misty. What did that mean? I decided not to answer that question.
Once I returned to my room and took a shower, I decided to make some coffee. Lamorna was in the kitchen. What a pleasant surprise. We spent the whole morning chatting, then we had lunch together.
By now, the day had become sunny. What did that mean?
Then I looked at this week's hydrangeas, and how beautifully they looked next to the pink spray roses. And I was grateful. There is just so much beauty in this world.
I knew it was time to write this entry.
